The Field Engineer role is to ensure successful HVAC project execution by overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning processes while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the installation and testing of HVAC systems, particularly Multi V systems, to ensure they meet project specifications and client requirements.
Conduct on-site inspections and testing and commissioning (T&C) processes to guarantee optimal system functionality and smooth project execution.
Prepare and share detailed T&C reports (Field Event Stage 4 - FE4) with all stakeholders, providing clear insights into system performance and project status.
Oversee the handover of HVAC systems to clients, coordinating with sales engineers, field engineers, and project managers for a seamless transition.
Provide field services, including troubleshooting, repairs, and operational support, to resolve any issues before T&C and system handover, ensuring reliable performance.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures while promoting high standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certification in HVAC systems or related technical fields is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the operation, installation, site supervision, and testing & commissioning of VRF systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting VRF systems is an advantage.
Skilled in documentation, presentations, and working with spreadsheets, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
