Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Jr. Accountant - Treasury & Reconciliation to join our team in Jordan. This role involves overseeing daily banking operations, coordinating cash flow activities, managing supplier payments, and supporting finance-related reporting and documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of banking procedures, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process daily banking transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
Coordinate with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to arrange weekly cash flow requirements.
Liaise with the AP team to ensure timely execution of supplier transfers.
Handle cheque discounting processes in accordance with company policies and banking guidelines.
Arrange and track finance-related transfers, both internally and externally.
Maintain and update the bank facilities tracking sheet to ensure accuracy and availability of information.
Provide day-to-day operational support in banking and finance matters, ensuring compliance with internal standards and procedures.
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
B.A. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
Solid understanding of banking procedures and financial transaction workflows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to assess financial data and support informed decision-making.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
