Job Title: Security Engineer
 Location: Amman, Jordan
About the Job: develop and implement robust security measures to safeguard our systems and mitigate cyber threats in a fintech-driven environment. 
What You’ll Do: 
🔹 Security Strategy & Implementation:
 ✔ Develop, implement, and manage information security policies and procedures.
 ✔ Design and deploy security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus systems.
✔ Ensure compliance with industry security standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, DORA Framework). 
🔹 Threat Management & Risk Assessment:
 ✔ Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats.
 ✔ Monitor security incidents and investigate breaches to determine root causes. 
✔ Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies. 
🔹 Collaboration & Awareness:
 ✔ Work with IT and development teams to ensure secure system and application design. 
✔ Conduct security awareness training for employees on cybersecurity best practices. 
✔ Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 
What We’re Looking For: 
✔ Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
 ✔ Proven experience in a cybersecurity role (Security Engineer, Security Analyst, etc.). 
✔ Strong understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies. 
✔ Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS. 
✔ Experience with network security, encryption, and authentication protocols. 
✔ Hands-on experience with cyber risk assessment & penetration testing. 
✔ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 
✔ Experience in financial technology or a related industry is a plus.
 Bonus Points If You Have:
 🔹 Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent. 
🔹 Ability to develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs. 
🔹 Experience with ethical hacking and security testing tools.
