Purpose:
The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day project activities at site, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and client requirements. The role involves coordinating manpower, materials, subcontractors, and reporting project progress to management.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Execution & Supervision
• Supervise on-site activities and ensure work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to project schedule.
• Coordinate with project manager, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
• Ensure proper allocation of manpower, tools, and materials.
2. Safety & Compliance
• Enforce company safety policies and procedures on site.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and client HSE requirements.
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.
3. Quality Control
• Ensure work quality meets contract specifications and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and verify completion of activities before submission to client.
• Coordinate inspections with client/consultant representatives.
4. Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Track material usage and site productivity.
• Maintain site records including attendance, permits, and work approvals.
• Support project manager with project documentation and updates.
5. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
• Act as site point of contact for client representatives.
• Attend site meetings when required.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering work professionally and on time.
