About the Role: 
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in mobile automation (Appium), web automation (Playwright), and API testing (RestAssured/Postman). The ideal candidate will design and maintain robust automation frameworks, drive automation strategy across teams, and ensure high-quality releases for both mobile and web platforms.
This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor other QA engineers while collaborating closely with development and product teams.

What You’ll Do:
Automation Architecture & Framework Development
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for:
 . Mobile testing using Appium (Android & iOS).
  . Web testing using Playwright.
  . API testing using RestAssured or Postman collections.
- Ensure frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and follow best coding practices.
- Develop reusable components, utilities, and libraries to accelerate automation efforts.
Test Automation Execution 
- Automate functional, regression, and smoke test suites across mobile, web, and backend layers.
- Execute automated suites, analyze failures, and provide detailed debugging insights.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Maintain and enhance reporting using tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
Quality Ownership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test coverage.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, refinement sessions, and release readiness discussions.
- Identify gaps in automation coverage and propose improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure automation aligns with sprint goals, release timelines, and quality standards.
Defect Management & Reporting
- Identify, document, and track defects using systems such as Jira.
- Provide root-cause analysis for automation and product issues.
- Deliver clear and actionable test reports to stakeholders.

Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor junior QA engineers on automation practices, tools, and frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce automation coding standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and overall automation maturity.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with strong focus on:
  . Mobile automation using Appium.
   . Web automation using Playwright.
  . API automation using RestAssured or Postman.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of automation design patterns (POM, Factory, Singleton, Locator Management, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficient with Git and source control best practices.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile processes.
- Experience with device/emulator management tools (Android Studio, Xcode).
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, K6).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) for test environment setup.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as Xray, TestRail, or Qase.
