Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Amman, Jordan. This role is specifically designed for fresh graduates or professionals with 1–3 years of experience who are eager to learn and grow in the accounting field. The successful candidate will assist in managing financial records, supporting accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards, while receiving guidance and mentorship from senior accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
Support in preparing financial statements and reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Reconcile accounts and help resolve discrepancies.
Provide support during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
Learn and apply compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
0–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply).
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
