Job Summary:

The Station Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of aviation fueling services at the airport, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant fueling processes for airline clients. This role involves managing a team of fuel handlers, coordinating with airport and airline personnel, and upholding high standards in fuel quality and safety. The Station Manager is responsible for maintaining JiG and industry-compliant fueling operations, performing regular quality checks, managing inventory, and fostering positive client relationships. Strong leadership, safety awareness, and logistical skills are essential for success in this position.

 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Ensure that all requirements of GACAR151 are met by the ground service provider at 

the aerodrome to which they are assigned.

  • Provide adequate recruitment, personnel training, efficient procedures, maintenance and 

safe operation of applicable ground service equipment, compliance with applicable 

aerodrome safety regulations and procedures, compliance with ground service provider 

and customer’s manuals, processes and procedures, compliance with service level 

agreements.

 

  • Promote & lead HSSE performance at the Airports and ensure compliance to AlShams, IATA, JiG and local legislation by implanting the following:

1. AlShams HSSE policies& guidelines

2. KSA Airports regulations.

3. Report all incidents timely as per Incident reporting guidelines, facilitate for incident 

    investigation and monitor recommended actions implementation.

4. Facilitate for developing of airport Risk Assessment and ensure controls are met to 

    reduce risk associate with into-plane hazards.

5. Lead Station HSSE Steering Committee meetings and agree on recommended actions 

   required to be implemented.

  • Ensure adequate resources (manpower + equipment) are available. Coordinate with 

management for additional / resources as per time or situation requirement.

  • Maintain and manage requirements implementation of agreement (SLA) signed with airport 

authorities. , personnel training, efficient procedures, maintenances and safe operation.

  • Ensures that operating working instructions are implemented and adequate training is 

provided to maintain safe working environment.

  • Develop airport annual financial budget, and monitors expenditures to ensure proper and 

efficient management of funds.

  • Facilitate and coordinate with airport authorities and stake holders to conduct inspections 

and ensure recommended actions are implemented for closure.

  • Represents airport before civic and community groups as well as government agencies.
  • Representing the company for all government tenders, military and aviation clubs, And follow-up and search for opportunities to develop the business..



Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • University Degree, Technical Qualification or equivalent.
  • 10 Years experience in similar position in a reputable organization.
