As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Compliance Officer to ensure our operations meet regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Role Overview:
 As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will support the compliance team in ensuring the business meets regulatory requirements, manage risk, assist in policy drafting, conduct compliance assessments, and help maintain high governance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
 • Policy Drafting & Compliance Manuals: Assist in drafting policies, procedures, manuals, and forms.
 • Compliance Testing & Reporting: Support compliance tests and draft reports with key findings and provide actionable recommendations.
 • Regulatory Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulators. 
• Risk Assessments: Draft methodologies for assessing the company’s AML/CFT risks and assist in performing the annual Risk-Based Approach (RBA) AML/CFT assessment.
 • Onboarding & KYC Processes: Help develop and review onboarding processes, KYC forms, and perform due diligence and screening.
 • Compliance Awareness: Assist in conducting compliance and AML/CFT awareness sessions for employees.
 • Governance Support: Help prepare documents and reports related to the governance committee.
Who You Are:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. 
Experience: 1-3 years in compliance, AML/CFT, risk management, or internal audit (preferably in finance or insurance). 
Knowledge: Familiar with CBJ regulations, industry standards, onboarding processes, KYC, and preparing SAR/STR. 
Technical Skills: Experience with AML/CFT software and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
Language Skills: Excellent English proficiency. 
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
