Job Purpose


Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their IT needs and objectives, and recommending appropriate solutions and services to meet their requirements. The primary purpose of this role is to serve as the main point of contact for clients, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling IT products and services, and drive revenue growth and retention. Responsible for connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports. Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and improve the entire customer experience. Collaborate with business development team members and stakeholders to achieve sales quotas and grow business.

 


Duties & Responsibilities


 

  1. Client Relationship Management: 

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Conduct regular meetings and check-ins with clients to understand their IT needs, challenges, and goals
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction

 

  • 2.  Needs Assessment and Solution Selling: 

 

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and analysis of client environments to identify opportunities for solution selling
  • Recommend appropriate IT products, services, and solutions to meet client requirements and achieve their business objectives
  • Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients

 

  • 3.   Sales and Revenue Generation: 

 

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for assigned client accounts, driving new business opportunities and upselling/cross-selling IT products and services
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue, expand client relationships, and increase market share
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients to maximize profitability and ensure mutual success

 

  1. Client Retention and Satisfaction: 

 

  • Monitor client satisfaction levels and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Proactively address client concerns and issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution and client retention
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the value proposition and differentiate our offerings to strengthen client loyalty and retention

 

  • 5.  Doing multiple additional tasks including but not limited to the following

 

  • Build and maintain strong, long –lasting customer relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements with maximize profit
  • Selling software and services for existing customers and new customers
  • Identifying potential new clients and business opportunities
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client
  • Manage and solve conflicts with clients
  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account
  • Designing marketing strategies and media proposals for product or service
  • Maintaining a good understanding of clients and their business strategies
  • Acting as the first point of contact for company clients
  • Meeting sales target
  • Organizing and preform sales visits and demonstrating and presenting products
  •  Cold Calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Acting as contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
  • Creating detailed proposal documents, presentation and marketing materials
  • Collect payments from his accounts on time
  • Update and maintain CRM
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
  • Feeding future buying trends back to employers
  • Create and distribute customer surveys

 

 

 

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or any related field.

Experience & Job Requirements 

  •  (5+) years of experience as account manager in Software companies and IT fields, preferred in software programming companies, or similar role
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Good technical knowledge in web development
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
