- Role Purpose:
The role purpose of a Junior Quality Assurance professional in a retail software company is to ensure zero major bugs leaked to production. This involves developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies and processes throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), focusing on identifying defects, verifying functionality, and ensuring overall performance and security of retail applications, such as point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and e-commerce platforms. The QA professional plays a critical role in safeguarding the user experience by ensuring that all features function correctly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.

§ Regular Communication with all related teams like Development team, BA Team and Ui/UX Team. |
§ Decide whether a test case passes or fails based on acceptance criteria. § Recommend re-testing when validation is incomplete. |
§ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. § 0–2 years of experience in software testing or QA (fresh graduates welcome). § Basic understanding of software testing fundamentals. § Fluent English § Good communication skills |
