Job Purpose |
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure to keep operations running safely and to GMP standards. The role contributes to safe, on-time, and on-quality execution by following standard procedures rigorously, supporting team targets, and reporting issues without delay. |
Key Duties & Responsibilities |
● Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections per PM plan. ● Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on production lines and utilities. ● Replace worn parts and document maintenance work in CMMS. ● Apply lockout-tagout (LOTO) and other HSE practices during all interventions. ● Support installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment. ● Follow standard operating procedures meticulously and report any deviations to the supervisor immediately. ● Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment and adhere to PPE requirements at all times. ● Complete all required training and refreshers on schedule, including HSE, GMP, and role-specific modules. |
Qualifications & Requirements |
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or vocational maintenance training.
● Languages: Working proficiency in Arabic (native or near-native) and English (intermediate or above for technical reading and reporting). ● Computer literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the company's enterprise systems (ERP/LIMS/CMMS as applicable to the role). |
Experience |
3+ years in industrial / pharmaceutical maintenance.
● Track record of successful delivery in a comparable role within a regulated or quality-driven environment. ● Demonstrated ability to operate within an Iraqi-Group setting, working with internal stakeholders across functions and external regulators / partners. |
