Job Purpose |
Carry out painting and surface-finishing work across the company's facilities and equipment to maintain hygiene, GMP-compliant cleanability, corrosion protection, and a professional appearance. The role contributes to safe, on-time, and on-quality execution by following standard procedures rigorously, supporting team targets, and reporting issues without delay. |
Key Duties & Responsibilities |
● Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, masking) and apply paints and coatings per specification. ● Mix paints to specification and select appropriate equipment (brush, roller, spray). ● Maintain cleanability and corrosion-resistance standards required for GMP areas. ● Apply HSE practices including PPE, ventilation, and chemical handling. ● Document work completed and report any safety hazards. ● Follow standard operating procedures meticulously and report any deviations to the supervisor immediately. ● Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment and adhere to PPE requirements at all times. ● Complete all required training and refreshers on schedule, including HSE, GMP, and role-specific modules. |
Qualifications & Requirements |
Vocational training in painting/finishing.
● Languages: Working proficiency in Arabic (native or near-native) and English (intermediate or above for technical reading and reporting). ● Computer literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the company's enterprise systems (ERP/LIMS/CMMS as applicable to the role). |
Experience |
2+ years in industrial painting; pharmaceutical/clean-area preferred.
● Track record of successful delivery in a comparable role within a regulated or quality-driven environment. ● Demonstrated ability to operate within an Iraqi-Group setting, working with internal stakeholders across functions and external regulators / partners. |
