1. Job Title Nutrition Specialist
2. Location Clinics and Health Centers
3. Key Responsibilities Providing Individual Nutritional Consultations
Conduct initial nutritional assessments (weight, height, MUAC, medical conditions).
Offer nutrition counseling based on health status, age, and gender.
Nutrition Education and Awareness
Conduct individual or group awareness sessions within the clinic.
Case Follow-up and Response Improvement
Monitor priority cases such as malnutrition or chronic illnesses.
Adjust dietary plans based on health progress or deterioration.
Coordinate with the medical team to ensure an integrated nutritional care plan.
Data Collection and Documentation
Complete approved forms and regularly update records accurately.
Enter data into electronic or paper systems as per protocol.
Ensure confidentiality and security of beneficiary information.
4. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Therapeutic Nutrition.
5. Experiences Minimum of two years of experience in nutrition or primary healthcare. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in camp settings.
6. Conditions Jordanian nationality.
Medically fit for the position.
Valid professional license to practice.
7. Skills Good knowledge of basic principles of healthy nutrition, malnutrition, and breastfeeding support programs.
Strong skills in nutritional assessment and data collection.
Effective communication skills and ability to work with diverse age groups.
Ability to work within a team and under pressure.
Commitment to professional confidentiality and work ethics.
