Job Description: Retail Operations Specialist

Location: Kuwait
Reporting to: E-commerce Director


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee Store Operations & Compliance
    • Ensure the sales team adheres to operational guidelines and conduct audits to monitor compliance with product display, stock management, and customer service standards.
    • Coordinate and follow up with relevant departments on requests raised by the store to ensure operational smoothness and compliance.
  2. Inventory Management Support
    • Act as the liaison with warehouse teams for inbound shipments and stock transfers.
    • Ensure efficient replenishment of inventory to maintain optimal stock levels in line with sales requirements.
  3. Supplier Coordination
    • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of promotional materials and testers.
    • Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions for the sales team to improve product knowledge.
  4. Staff Scheduling & Support
    • Assist in managing staff scheduling, including handling leave requests, to ensure appropriate staffing during both peak and off-peak periods.
    • Provide on-the-ground support to ensure smooth daily operations.
  5. Sales Monitoring & Engagement
    • Monitor store performance against sales budgets and develop action plans in collaboration with the sales team to drive improvement.
    • Encourage and motivate the sales team to actively engage with customers, maximize sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  6. Visual Merchandising Implementation
    • Assist in the implementation of visual merchandising strategies, ensuring alignment with marketing directives.
    • Ensure the store's appearance is consistently attractive, clean, and organized, meeting company standards.
  7. Data & Reporting Assistance
    • Assist with data extraction and reporting, supporting strategic analysis and decision-making processes for store operations and sales.
  8. Process Improvement Contributions
    • Actively contribute to the enhancement of store processes, offering solutions that improve operational flow and performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Experience in retail store operations, inventory management, or a related field is highly preferred.
