Position Overview
The Operations Supervisor manages the daily fueling activities and operational processes of the fuel farm and hydrant system. They coordinate fueling schedules, oversee system performance, and ensure that fuel delivery to aircraft is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational procedures and GACA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Managing daily fueling activities and operational processes
Coordinating fueling schedules with airlines and ground handlers
Overseeing system performance and operational efficiency
Ensuring safe and efficient fuel delivery to aircraft in compliance with GACA standards
Supervising fuel farm operators and field technicians
Monitoring compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and GACA regulations
Managing shift operations and workforce scheduling
Responding to operational issues and coordinating emergency responses
Maintaining accurate operational records and reports for GACA compliance
Conducting regular inspections of fueling operations
Ensuring staff training meets GACA requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in aviation fuel operations
At least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of fuel farm operations and hydrant systems
Understanding of JIG standards, GACA regulations, and aviation safety requirements
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with GACA operational approval processes
