| Job Detailed Responsibilities |
- Component Fabrication: Cut, shape, and prepare wood and composite materials using saws, routers, and other carpentry tools to create components that meet design specifications for insulated panels.
- Assembly and Fitting: Assemble and fit wooden components to form structural or support elements, ensuring precise alignment and secure connections for durability.
- Surface Preparation and Finishing: Sand, trim, and finish surfaces to ensure smooth edges and a high-quality appearance. Apply protective coatings as needed for enhanced durability.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately create and assemble carpentry components.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs on wooden structures and components as necessary, including replacements and refinishing to maintain quality standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed components for accuracy, strength, and quality, addressing any defects or inconsistencies to meet production standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up and maintain carpentry equipment, including saws, drills, and sanders, ensuring tools are clean, calibrated, and in good working order.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, proper handling of carpentry tools, and adherence to company safety policies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Record completed tasks, materials used, and any deviations from project specifications. Communicate updates and issues with supervisors as needed.
