Position Overview
Fuel Farm Operators perform the day-to-day operational activities at the fuel storage facility. Their duties include receiving fuel from pipelines or tank trucks, monitoring tank levels, managing transfers between tanks, and supporting fueling operations in accordance with GACA operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Performing day-to-day operational activities at the fuel farm
Receiving fuel from pipelines, tanker trucks, or marine vessels
Monitoring tank levels and fuel inventory
Managing fuel transfers between storage tanks
Operating valves, pumps, and control systems per GACA procedures
Supporting aircraft fueling operations
Conducting routine inspections of equipment and facilities
Recording operational data and maintaining logs for GACA compliance
Responding to alarms and operational issues
Following GACA safety procedures and emergency protocols
Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fuel operations or similar industry
Basic understanding of fuel handling and storage
Ability to operate pumps, valves, and control systems
Knowledge of GACA safety procedures and regulations
Good communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and safety consciousness
Ability to work shifts including nights and weekends
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airside clearance
