Job Purpose
Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective clients, and driving sales to achieve company growth objectives. This role involves a combination of, sales outreach, market research and client relationship management. Identifying company products and services that are underperforming, developing an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing, policies, and improving existing sales proposals, identify business growth opportunities, and Help strategies to increase company sales.
Duties & Responsibilities
- 1. Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and prospects through market research, networking, and lead generation activities
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, key decision-makers, and industry influencers
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's client base and achieve revenue targets
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for assigned client accounts, driving new business opportunities and upselling/cross-selling IT products and services
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue, expand client relationships, and increase market share
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients to maximize profitability and ensure mutual success
- 3. Client Relationship Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and challenges, and proposing tailored solutions
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities and partnerships
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional service and support
- 4. Needs Assessment and Solution Selling:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and analysis of client environments to identify opportunities for solution selling
- Recommend appropriate IT products, services, and solutions to meet client requirements and achieve their business objectives
- Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients
- 5. Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation:
- Prepare and deliver sales proposal and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products or services
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and legal teams, to develop customized solutions and address client requirements
- 6. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to penetrate new markets and verticals.
- 7. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities for management review.
- 8. Doing multiple additional tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services
- Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning
- Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities
- Meeting with potential Clients to present company offerings and negotiate business deals
- Preparing Proposals, RFPs, Quotations, Presentations, etc.
- Create and Update Company Documents: Profile, Presentations, Factsheets, etc.
- Prepare Social Media Plan, Share Posts, and Responding
- Prepare Materials that Supports Proposing: Track Record, Product Sections, Past Performance
- Update Website News and Case Studies
- Update CRM with Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Activities
- Prepare Support System Document and Satisfaction Survey for every Closed Project
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, IT, or any related field.
Experience & Job Requirements
- At least (1-2) years of experience as business development executive or sales executive in Software companies and IT fields, preferred in software programming companies, or similar role
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Good understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels
- Strong negotiation, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate in sales cycles and close deals
- Good knowledge in CRM software
- Good technical knowledge in web development
- Experience in sales, marketing or related field
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
