What you will be doing: 
Manage day-to-day accounting activities. 
Own cross-functional commercial processes and financial results. 
Prepare and analyze monthly finance reports. 
Manage initiatives across all lines of spends and build trackers and tools to monitor and control actual, accruals and ensure completeness and accuracy of the recorded transactions. 
Oversee all types of reconciliation to align supplier liabilities, rebates, customers receivable, retailers liabilities and their related collections. 
Monitor and resolve any discrepancies in account reconciliation, ensuring account balances are accurate and up-to-date. Support tax and auditing activities. 
Support the accounts manager to prepare the monthly financial and management reporting. 
Support in creating business cases and financial models for operations and new business initiatives supported by data and analytics. 
What do you need to have? 
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting specially working in central roles, with e-commerce companies. 
Sound Knowledge of: 
A passion for and demonstrated experience working with a dynamic technology companies including internet, super app, and marketplace focused companies 
Comfortable with continuous engagement with C-level and Senior Leadership 
Strong analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written) - comfortable with PowerPoint and Excel and financial reporting 
Strong team-play, comfortable with cross-team collaboration 
Strong bias for action and exceptional Owner mindset 
Excellent communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English

Education and/or professional qualification
Relevant education background, preferably MBA - Finance from a top-tier academic institution. 
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required 
ACCA qualification will be an added advantage.
