Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Technician to join the Live Maintenance Department at a slaughterhouse located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is within the Food Services industry, where your primary role will be to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment related to slaughterhouse processes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair mechanical equipment in the Live Maintenance Department to ensure smooth operation with the highest quality and efficiency.
Monitor machinery performance and conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential Malfunctions.
Work closely with the maintenance team to effectively implement preventive maintenance programs.
Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately for future reference.
Contribute to improving maintenance procedures by suggesting ways to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Qualifications and Requirements
Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
Proven hands-on experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, preferably within the food services or slaughterhouse sector.
Strong analytical and technical skills to diagnose and repair malfunctions efficiently.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
Good knowledge of occupational safety procedures and adherence during task performance.
Work Environment
The technician will work within the Live Maintenance team at the Dammam slaughterhouse, in a work environment that emphasizes safety and quality, requiring adherence to strict food service standards to deliver products that meet the highest hygiene and safety regulations.
