  • Perform the assigned duties as per the set policies and procedures in order to achieve the department goals.
  • Perform all the daily operations of the IT department in order to achieve the set goals. 
  • Investigates, and diagnose network problems, collect IT usage status, and making suggestions for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions. 
  • Maintains, implements of network security and monitors the BSTC internal networks, contact management system (IP office) and all related upgrade issues.
  • Implements the company’s internet usage policy and monitors the use of internet and emails to make sure that everyone is behaving.
  • Performs and/or oversees software and application development, installation and upgrades. 
  • Installs, configures and maintains personal computers, the BSTC networks, file servers, intranet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrades and configures modems, disk drives, data acquisition boards, CD ROM units, printers, and related equipment.
  • Investigates, suggests, and installs enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability. 
  • Ensures that all software applications and networks are operating in the way they should to be, and that users can access and make proper usage of these resources.
  • Coordinates activities with other BSTC’s division; keeps informed of new practices, software and hardware within the data processing field; provides technical assistance to other departments as needed.
  • Assists in creating and implementing the comprehensive and integrated information systems in BSTC.
  • Implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
  • Performs any related tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
