We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our team in Dammam. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food products and supplies to ensure the smooth operation of our food services. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to prevent shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Collaborate with warehouse and kitchen staff to understand procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety standards.
- Stay updated on market trends and new products in the food industry.Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in procurement within the food services industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control.
- Ability to analyze market data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.Work Environment:
