Type of: Full time Key Functions:
The Technical Planning & Records Officer is responsible for the following functions:
1. Planning the incorporation of all task cards as defined by the approved Maintenance Program
2. Preparing, reviewing & editing Check/Work-Packs for both scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance items.
3. Schedules major and minor maintenance, Engineering Orders, Special inspections, component changes and other maintenances on all fleet.
4. Prepares periodic reports related to compliance status of Routine maintenance, Major component changes, ADs, Modifications etc.
5. Maintain a record of all Routine / Non-Routine checks, SBs, ADs, Engineering Modifications and Repairs carried out on all Arab Wings fleet.
6. Work closely with Procurement Department in availing parts, materials and tools requirements ahead of maintenance.
7. Prepares periodic short term, medium-term and long-term maintenance forecasts and distributes for all concerned sections for preparation and planning purposes.
9. Plans and ensures on time compliance of ADs and other mandatory requirements in coordination with the concerned service engineering sections and ensures records are updated and properly kept.
10. Controls and Records component movements as related to requirements for periodic inspection, overhaul and replacement and assure the unit lifetime is not exceeded on a flying aircraft.
11. Compiling the required data into the CAMP system to update aircraft statuses and to produce the Monthly Utilization Reports.
12. Ensure all Materials required per maintenance check are available prior aircraft maintenance input.
13. Any tasks requested by the Technical Planning & Records Manager
Qualifications
• Bachelor in Aeronautical/Mechanical / Electrical /Electronic Engineering or Diploma in aviation maintenance.
Experience & Skills:
• 2 years of experience in a Maintenance Planning, Technical Records, or Aviation Maintenance environment.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations (Part M, Part 145, or equivalent) regarding maintenance planning and record-keeping.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals (AMM), and technical documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
