Purpose:
Showroom Salesman primary responsibility is to achieve sales within the showroom environment. This role involves engaging with customers, providing information about products and services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities:
Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist customers with their purchasing decisions by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with patience and efficiency.
Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective sales techniques.
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system or any available payment method.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the store’s products, services, and promotions.
Stay updated on new product arrivals, features, and benefits.
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers.
Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Replenish stock and arrange displays according to the company’s visual merchandising guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the showroom supervisor.
Work closely with other sales associates and store staff to meet store goals.
Attend weekly and monthly team meetings aimed at achieving sales goals and participate in training sessions focused on Shaker Group products.
Ensure the application of health and safety standards throughout the showroom.
Experience and Requirements
1-2 Years experience in retail sales or customer service roles.
Good understanding of the products and services offered by the showroom.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Detail-oriented.
