Service Sales Engineer

Purpose:

The Service Sales Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling after-sales services, including maintenance contracts and service agreements. Focus on fostering long-term client relationships by ensuring the delivery of high-quality post-purchase support while identifying new opportunities for service expansion and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain to customers how they can benefit from our services.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team to understand customer demands and provide necessary support for service sales.
  • Establish strong rapport and acceptance with customers.
  • Plan and propose modifications to service contracts in order to meet the changing demands of customers.
  • Manage billing processes and ensure timely collection of payments for services.
  • Identify opportunities for growth with both existing and potential customers and create plans for marketing activities that promote extended service sales coverage.
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms with clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals by reaching an agreement on terms and conditions.
  • Provide after-sales support services to customers as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and continue to build positive connections.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to assist customers in finding solutions, providing the right recommendations, and resolving issues.
  • Administer client accounts to ensure proper management and service delivery.
  • Analyze costs and sales to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports for the head office to communicate progress and challenges.
  • Consistently meet regular sales targets and objectives.
  • Record and maintain accurate client contact data for future reference.
  • Coordinate service sales projects to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures while promoting high standards.


 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering specialized in HVAC.
     
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar field. 
  • Proven track record on sales achievement.
  • Ability to re-locate and ability to travel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) service sales.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to explain complex services in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
