Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer.
About the Job: This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of ZagTrader’s software products through both manual and automated testing. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design and execute test plans, develop automation scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve defects. The goal is to maintain the highest standards of performance, stability, and user experience in all releases. 
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test cases for manual and automated testing. 
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or equivalent. 
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios. 
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing for web and backend systems.
Perform API testing and validate system integrations. 
Document and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira). 
Ensure test coverage aligns with project requirements and business expectations. 
Continuously improve testing strategies and automation coverage. 
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups). 
Support deployment validation and release readiness activities. 
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and maintain quality documentation. 
What We’re Looking For: 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance (Manual & Automation). 
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, or Cypress). 
Proficiency in manual testing techniques and test case design. 
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. 
Experience with API testing, SQL, and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). 
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). 
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities. 
Knowledge of financial systems or fintech applications is an advantage.
