Job Summary:
An IT Systems Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting virtualized environments, backup solutions, and storage systems. This role involves system administration, troubleshooting, and ensuring data availability and disaster recovery readiness. Expertise in technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, NetBackup, Veeam, and enterprise storage solutions is essential for maintaining system efficiency and reliability.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
      Install, configure, and manage Hyper-V and VMware virtualized environments.
Maintain and optimize backup solutions using NetBackup and Veeam.
Manage enterprise storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Implement disaster recovery strategies and test backup restorations.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
Keep systems secure by applying patches, updates, and best practices.
