Job Purpose

Drive showroom sales growth at Al-Kahraman for Gold and Jewelry (Zughaib & Co.) by delivering the highest professional service standards to customers, assisting them in selecting jewelry and precious items that match their preferences, and maintaining comprehensive product knowledge across the full showroom range. The role builds lasting customer relationships, upholds Al-Kahraman's brand image, and contributes directly to branch revenue targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

●  Achieve the individual monthly sales target and contribute to the overall showroom monthly sales goal.

●  Represent the company professionally before customers, visitors, and business partners, upholding Al-Kahraman’s brand image and reputation at all times.

●  Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of all showroom items — specifications, pricing, karat standards, gemstone types, and active promotions or discounts.

●  Assist customers in selecting jewelry, gold pieces, and decorative items; guide and persuade them through to a confident purchase decision.

●  Explain the technical specifications of items accurately — karat, weight, design, and stones used — and provide information on manufacturing, warranty, maintenance, and after-sales services.

●  Respond to customer enquiries promptly and resolve complaints effectively; escalate complex issues to the showroom manager without delay.

●  Proactively contact existing customers to inform them of new arrivals, special offers, and promotions; follow up on pending enquiries to convert interest into sales.

●  Issue sales invoices and register all transaction data accurately in the point-of-sale (POS) / sales system; record daily showroom sales to maintain an up-to-date inventory report.

●  Arrange and organise showroom displays per approved display standards; maintain cleanliness of display areas at all times and suggest improvements to product presentation.

●  Follow opening/closing procedures; verify all equipment and security systems are functioning; report defects immediately. Participate in periodic stock counts and coordinate special orders with management and other branches as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Preparatory (Intermediate) certificate as minimum; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any relevant field preferred. Specialized courses in sales, marketing, or jewelry/gold trade are a strong advantage.

 

● Languages: Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic; Kurdish required (Erbil branch); working knowledge of English preferred.

● Computer literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the company's POS/sales and billing system.

Experience

1–3 years in retail or brand sales; experience in jewelry, gold, or luxury goods is strongly preferred. 3 years preferred for senior showroom roles.

 

● Certification or training in gemstones, diamonds, or precious metals is a strong advantage.

● Demonstrated accuracy and integrity in handling merchandise and cash/card payment operations.
